Access

In July 2010, arbias commenced planning for the implementation of services to people with an ABI state-wide throughout New South Wales through a two-year competitive tender that arbias successfully won through ADHC. The first client was seen on 1st October 2010.

The arbias NSW service is co-located with headway ADP in Bankstown. It aims to provide information on unmet needs and bridge the gap of services in metropolitan Sydney and rural NSW (as of 2011).

Eligibility

  • Aged between 16 and 65 years (referrals outside this age range will be considered on a case by case basis)
  • Have no compensation (cases will be reviewed for priority & urgency)
  • Evidence of an ABI
  • Significant cognitive impairment

How to & who can refer

Anyone can make a referral to the service. To refer a person or yourself simply:

  • Call (02) 9708 0027 to make referral and to access a referral form
  • Send in referral form via mail, email or fax
