developing until the age of 25. The brain of a young adult is more sensitive to the harmful effects of alcohol. Levels of alcohol

impossible to detect. Most people do not know they have alcohol related brain damage until the impairment is severe. Problems
include difficulty with learning, memory and impulse control. Excessive drinking can also cause depression and if a person is
depressed, drinking can make a bad situation worse.
